01Overview

HTMLStudio's free plan covers most people who just want to try the workspace — 1 sites, no credit card required. This policy covers refunds for paid sites: when they're available, what's excluded, and how to ask for one.

02Free plan

The free plan doesn't require payment, so there's nothing to refund. You can use your 1 included sites for as long as you like without providing billing details.

03Refund eligibility

New paid sites are eligible for a full refund if requested within 14 days of the initial purchase.

SituationEligible?
First purchase of a paid site, within 14 daysFull refund
Automatic renewal, refund requested within 7 days of the renewal chargeFull refund
Automatic renewal, refund requested after 7 daysNot eligible — cancel to stop future renewals
Mid-cycle cancellation after the eligibility windowNot eligible for a prorated refund

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor and can take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

04How to request a refund

Email us with the email address on your account and the site or order you'd like refunded. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

[email protected]

05What's not covered

Refunds don't apply in the following cases:

  • Requests made after the eligibility window described above
  • Dissatisfaction with a third-party host or service you connected to HTMLStudio (GitHub, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, etc.)
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms & Conditions
  • Partial-month or partial-year use after cancellation — access continues until the end of the paid period, but the remaining time isn't refunded

06Cancellations & downgrades

You can cancel a paid site at any time from your account settings. Canceling stops future renewals but doesn't retroactively refund the current billing period unless it falls within the eligibility window above.

Once a paid site isn't renewed, it becomes read-only. You can still view and export it as a ZIP file, and it stays recoverable for 12 months before it's permanently deleted — full details are in our Privacy Policy.

07Chargebacks

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card provider — most billing issues can be resolved faster this way. Accounts associated with a chargeback may be suspended while the dispute is investigated.

08Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
