01Overview
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form an agreement between you and HTMLStudio ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the HTMLStudio workspace, website, and related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you're using HTMLStudio on behalf of a company or client, you're confirming you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
02Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use HTMLStudio. If you're under the age required to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
- You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
03The service
HTMLStudio is a workspace for organizing, editing, and deploying static HTML websites. It is not a website builder or a hosting provider — you bring the HTML (written by you, generated by AI, or otherwise), and you choose where it's ultimately hosted.
We may add, change, or remove features from the Service at any time. We'll try to give notice of changes that materially affect how you use HTMLStudio, but we can't guarantee advance notice in every case.
04Acceptable use
You agree not to use HTMLStudio to:
- Build, host, or deploy content that's illegal, fraudulent, or infringes someone else's rights
- Distribute malware, phishing pages, or content designed to deceive or harm visitors
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, projects, or our infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Resell or sublicense the Service itself without our written permission
We may suspend or remove content, or restrict access to the Service, if we reasonably believe these terms are being violated.
05Your content
You own the HTML, assets, and content you create or upload to HTMLStudio ("Your Content"). We don't claim ownership over it.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate HTMLStudio and to deploy your sites to the destinations you choose. This license ends when you delete Your Content or close your account, except where copies persist temporarily in backups or as required by law.
You're responsible for making sure Your Content doesn't violate anyone else's rights and that you have the necessary permissions for anything you upload — including content generated by third-party AI tools.
06Plans & billing
HTMLStudio offers a free plan with a limited number of sites, and paid plans for additional sites or features.
| Item | How it works |
| Free plan | 1 sites included, no credit card required |
| Paid sites | Billed on the cycle shown at checkout; renews automatically unless canceled |
| Payment processing | Handled by our third-party payment processor — we never see or store full card numbers |
| Non-renewal | A paid site becomes read-only, remaining exportable for 12 months before deletion |
Refunds are handled separately — see our Refund Policy for details.
07Third-party services
HTMLStudio integrates with services you choose to connect, such as GitHub, and lets you deploy to hosts like GitHub Pages, Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, Vercel, or Amazon S3. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms — we're not responsible for how they handle your data or content once it leaves HTMLStudio.
08Suspension & termination
You can stop using HTMLStudio and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service — in which case we'll aim to give you a reasonable window to export Your Content first.
09Disclaimers & liability
HTMLStudio is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HTMLStudio and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost data, lost revenue, or downtime on third-party hosts. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
10Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which HTMLStudio is registered to do business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless local law requires otherwise.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll notify account holders by email. Continuing to use HTMLStudio after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
